Cypress Trail RV Resort, Southwest Florida’s best selling luxury RV Resort, kicks off the new season with pickleball clinics to help resort residents and the general public learn the ins and outs of this new and fast-growing sport the week of January 15th to the 21st. The sport has proven to be so popular with all ages that Southwest Florida will again be the site of the U.S. Open Pickleball Championships later this spring.
Pickleball coach Matthew Klein will instruct players of all levels and private instruction will be available This is a great way to learn and enjoy pickleball through professional instruction.
Two-hour clinics will be available Monday, January 16th through Friday, January 20th at the resort. Costs are $30/person up to eight people. Yoga instructor Mei Shen will provide a before and after stretching session as part of the clinic. Private lessons also are available at $50/hour/one student, $30/hour each for a pair or $25/person/hour for a foursome.
Coach Klein has been a professional pickleball instructor for the past five years and has taught the sport to over 4,300 students in 16 states. He is certified through the International Pickleball Teachers Professional Association.
Here is the clinic schedule:
- Novice clinics from 10am - 12pm
- Intermediate clinics from 1pm - 3pm
- Private lessons from 3:30pm - 5:30pm each day
Each clinic can accommodate up to eight students (private lessons from one to four students) and will be played on two of Cypress Trail’s four courts. Presently, the resort offers four professional-level pickleball courts with plans to expand based on growing demand.
